1. What is the "Strut Ya Stuff" Talent Contest for Kids show?
The "SYS" Talent Contest for Kids is a show that is designed to give performance opportunities to our youth ages 5 through 19. This show offers children the unique opportunity of creative expression through the performing arts while performing on stage in front of a live audience.
2. When and where is the 12th Annual "Strut Ya Stuff" Talent Contest for Kids show?
Our 'SYS' show date is Sunday, November 16th and will be held at the Northeast YMCA, 1250 East 229th street, Bronx, NY 10466. More details coming soon!
The SYS Talent Contest for Kids, reserves the right, when necessary, to cancel or change the date, time, and/or location of the show.
3. Are there any entry fees to participate in the 'SYS' show?
Yes. As part of our "SYS" Talent Contest for Kids show, there is a $15 entry fee for all performers. For more details, please click here. Please note that all entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
4. Do you have to be a professional performer?
Absolutely not! Whether you're a first time or seasoned performer, our show is open for ALL levels. Our mission is to support all talented youth and give our kids the opportunity to shine on stage and 'Strut Their Stuff'!
5. Do you have to live in NYC to be in the show?
Not at all! Some of our "Strut Ya Stuff" contestants have traveled from Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, Philadelphia, and more.
6. Will family/friends have to purchase tickets to see the "SYS" show?
Yes. Anyone occupying a seat, including children, parents, friends, coordinators, choreographers, coaches, managers, counselors, etc., must purchase a ticket for our show. No ticket is needed for children 1 and under that are able to sit on your lap.
7. Are there any discounted 'SYS' tickets available for individuals and/or groups?
Because of all it takes to bring this amazing show to life, and since we’ve already priced tickets as affordably as possible, we’re not able to offer additional discounts.
8. How much are 'SYS' tickets?
Tickets are $15 per person.
Please note that tickets must be purchased in advance, as none will be sold at the door.
