'SYS' ENTRY FORM: To participate and compete in our "SYS" show, please complete our entry form and include any video link(s) showcasing how you and/or your team 'Strut Ya Stuff! For duet, trio, and group entries, kindly provide the full name, age, and T-shirt size of each team member.
ENTRY FEE/DUE DATE INFORMATION FOR THE 'SYS' TALENT CONTEST FOR KIDS SHOW:
*Solo, Duet, Trio, and Group Performances: A $15 entry fee is required per performer.
*Entry fee due date: Although our due dates has expired, we have a few performance spots left. Contact us today! Please note that all entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
PERFORMANCE TIME LIMITS: All 'Strut Ya Stuff' performances must be at least 3 minutes but no more than 3.5 minutes.
PHOTOS: All performers must submit a photo for our "SYS" show program, which will be distributed to the audience. Please note that for duet, trio, and group performers, only one group photo is needed.
MUSIC: Please send your performance music (MP3 or WAV only) to info.strutyastuff@gmail.com. Please do not send any video links (YouTube, Vimeo, social media, etc.). You MUST use clean music! Any profanity and/or inappropriate acts will be disqualified. No exceptions! For singers, and rappers, your performance music CANNOT contain any lead vocals. We need to hear your voice.
PERFORMANCE ATTIRE: Any contestant inappropriately dressed will be disqualified, and your entry fee will not be refunded or transferred. This includes low fitting jeans, showing of belly rings or belly tattoos. This show is family oriented, and is rated E for everyone.
PROPS: Props may be allowed with prior approval.
REHEARSALS: There may be one or two rehearsals prior to the show date. Time/location for rehearsal is TBA. Rehearsal dates are subject to change at anytime.
PHOTOGRAPHS: All participants will be photographed. Photos or videos taken of you, your group, and your performance(s) at the audition(s), and/or at the talent contest can be used for any, and all promotional purposes (i.e. ad promotional flyers, television, posters, commercials, websites, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
RELEASE OF LIABILITY: All participants are subject to liability risks. All participants performing in the "Strut Ya Stuff" Talent Contest for Kids audition and/or show in any capacity take certain incumbent risks. These include, but are not limited to sprains, pulled muscles and broken bones. Participation in this audition and/or show indicates the acceptance of such risks by performing. Therefore, we, the undersigned, will not hold Theresa Lavington, Harlem YMCA, Northeast YMCA, and, other host facilities, dance schools, directors, hosts, or any affiliates responsible for injuries, or damages sustained while participating in any activity related to the entire audition, and show (i.e. school, library, dressing rooms, auditorium, classrooms, etc.). I attest that I am in sound physical condition.
CODE OF CONDUCT: All participants must conduct themselves as ladies and gentlemen during the audition and/or talent contest. Failure to do so, will result in immediate disqualification. The entry fee is non-refundable under this circumstance.
COMMUNICATION: Contestants/parents/coaches/managers that DO NOT communicate, and submit requested information (performance music, rehearsal confirmations, photos, etc.), will be disqualified. The entry fee is non-refundable under this circumstance.
CHANGES: The "Strut Ya Stuff" Talent Contest for Kids reserves the right, when necessary, to cancel or change the show date and/or location.
PRIVACY: Any information we gather is strictly for our use, and is not shared with any other entity, public, or private for any reason. We will not sell or give away any lists or other data that we may retain, and we do not purchase such information from other sources.
PLEASE NOTE: We are not responsible for MUSIC, COSTUMES, PHONES or ANY PERSONAL BELONGINGS that are left behind at possible rehearsals or the show.
